A UHF RFID handheld gun plus cloud reconciliation lifts counting speed to 500 times manual work. 99.9% accuracy, shortages flagged automatically, real-time sync across stores, and a clear view through existing ERP / POS integration.

Pain points · What happens every day

If you are stuck in any of these situations, RFID Lightspeed Inventory was built for it.

Counting closes the whole store for a day

Barcode counting takes 3-5 people a full day; weekend overtime, unhappy staff and lost sales the owner feels.

Stock records do not match the shelf

The system shows 30 units, the shelf holds only 22 units. Every month-end means recounting, rechecking and re-approving.

Stockouts unfilled, slow movers tying up cash

Best-sellers sit empty on the shelf; cold styles pile up in the warehouse as dead stock, a visible and painful monthly loss.

Store data out of sync

Store A is out of stock while Store B is overloaded; HQ moves goods through a manual LINE group, slower than the post.

Features · Six core capabilities

Every feature was shaped by a real user pain point.

500× instant scanning

Sweep the handheld UHF RFID gun across the rack and it reads hundreds of tags on whole cases and racks in seconds, with no item-by-item barcode scanning.

99.9% accuracy

RFID is not blocked by cartons, plastic bags or stacking, with a miss rate 50 times lower than barcodes.

Shortages flagged automatically

Real-time comparison with cloud stock pops up a list of short, surplus and misplaced items; staff simply go and find them.

Cloud reports sent automatically

Counts upload automatically when finished, so HQ sees every store in real time; historical variances are traceable to who did them and when.

Painless ERP / POS integration

Standard API and CSV support connects Digiwin, Hankang or in-house systems, with no need to replace your POS.

On-site tagging / shipment checks

One sweep tags new arrivals, one sweep verifies before shipping. The whole warehouse workflow is transformed.

How it works · The process

Four steps from start to running.

  1. STEP 1
    Tag goods with RFID

New arrivals are tagged at goods-in with their SKU data; existing stock is tagged in batches by priority.

  2. STEP 2
Sweep the shelves with the handheld

Staff walk the store or warehouse with the RFID gun and read every tag within minutes.

  3. STEP 3
    Real-time cloud stock comparison

Data uploads automatically, the system compares it against ERP stock, and short/surplus lists are generated at once.

  4. STEP 4
    One HQ dashboard for everything

Multi-store data is consolidated in real time, so HQ sees at a glance who needs restocking and who needs clearing.

Use cases · Who it fits

Not sure it fits you? Start with these scenarios.

Apparel / footwear stores

Many SKUs, mixed styles, fast seasonal turnover — RFID makes weekly counts painless.

Ball gear / sporting goods

Gloves, bats and jerseys all differ in spec; counting used to be hell, RFID settles it in one sweep.

3PL / warehouse operators

Distribution centers routinely carry tens of thousands of SKUs; RFID lifts both accuracy and speed of inbound and outbound checks.

Asset management / IT equipment

Tag company computers, furniture and meeting-room equipment, and the annual asset count is done in 1 hour.

FAQ · Common questions

The questions we are asked most about RFID Lightspeed Inventory.

Another question? Leave a message at the foot of the page; we reply within one business day.

Are RFID tags expensive?

A passive UHF RFID tag currently costs about NT$2-5 and can be reused for 5-10 years. Against the labor saved on every count and the dead stock avoided, payback is usually 3-6 months.

Our store's products are too small to tag — what then?

RFID tags range from button-sized to stamp-sized, and there are special tags for metal, liquid and damp environments. We run a sample test before rollout.

Does it affect the customer experience?

RFID is entirely unobtrusive (nothing is read without the RFID gun). If goods are linked to the POS, one sweep completes checkout, which actually speeds it up.

How long does rollout take?

Standard rollout is 1 month: week 1 assessment and quote, week 2 equipment on site, week 3 tagging and training, week 4 go-live.
